Domaine Albert Boxler 2016 Riesling ‘Grand Cru Brand’

Tasting Note

The wines from the Brand are very fruit driven and concentrated. More direct and perhaps less complex that the ones from the Sommerberg, but neverless an incredible Alsacian White, and if more fruit forward whites are your thing then the Brand is for you! There is unctuous apricot, nectarine and other more stone and slightly tropical fruit on the palate. There is certainly the vibrant finesse and elegance typical of the Boxler style, but the Brand character certainly exhibits more muscles and power. A wonderful saltiness balances and shines through on the finish which is long and well structured.
