Predominantly First & Refill ex-Bourbon with a small amount of sherry

A fresh, grassy and barley’d nose. Quite citric with sweet barley and vanilla. There is a very subtle sherry influence which add some dried fruit, but the spirit character shines through. With time some fleshy fruit and a little more American oak.
The palate displays a touch more oak and weightier fruit/ spirit. Lightly honeyed with citrus, barley and subtle sherried dried fruit. A touch of coffee and spice on the middle. Good length with citrus, juniper, liquorice, nettles and a little herbal Oloroso finish.
