The nose opens with barley and slightly estery white fruit, pineapple, salt and subtle sherried dried fruit. Hints of plum, coffee, dark toffee appears. Lovely balance and coastal freshness.
The palate shows more sherried dried fruit and spice with a little earthy peat, barley, salt and toffee. Lovely nippy, salty and spicy middle and a long, raisinated fruit, barley and grippy oak finish. Dry barley husks after-taste.
