With 147 g/l residual sugar, this single vineyard, red Eiswein is one of the most exquisite, refined and elegant desert wines we have had the pleasure of tasting. Sadly however, this really is a ‘one off’, as the vineyard that produced this sensational wine had to be replanted the following year. I urge anybody who admires truly great sweet wine, not to miss this opportunity.
