Description
Vilmart & Cie. NV Grande Réserve
From the Premier Cru vineyards of Rilly-La-Montagne and comprising a blend of 70% Pinot Noir and 30% Chardonnay that has been aged on the lees for 24 months, the Grande Réserve is a Champagne of quiet grandeur – perfectly judged rich layers of orchard fruit, fine patisserie notes and the silken texture that defines Vilmart’s signature style. Luxurious yet wonderfully poised, a sublime and immediately seductive first glass of any festive occasion that will equally shine with lobster, smoked salmon, or velvety pâtés, the Grande Réserve is the quintessential premium Champagne for hosts, connoisseurs, or anyone that deserves something exceptional under the tree.
Vilmart & Cie. NV Cuvée Rubis Rosé
Showcasing the filigree nature of Rilly-La-Montagne Premier Cru grown Pinot Noir with a touch of Chardonnay, this is a rosé Champagne of extraordinary depth, elegance and chiselled definition. Ripe, crystalline red fruit flavours of gariguette strawberry, raspberry and cherry stone intermingle with bright citric acidity and touches of elderflower, whilst the taut effervescence gives focus and definition to the lusciously long finish. A suitably luxurious accompaniment to boujee Christmas day morning delights such as prawns and avocado on toast or smoked salmon and eggs benedict, late night charcuterie cold cuts and pastries, or even the perfect Christmas day dinner option for the wine lover who doesn’t do reds, but loves Turkey with oodles of cranberry sauce, The Rubis Rosé’s deep, jewel-toned colour and beautifully fine mousse make it a showpiece for any festive table – the very definition of celebratory indulgence.
De Lozey NV Blanc de Blancs
Six years ageing on the lees gives this superb 100% Chardonnay Blanc de Blancs a wonderfully generous style, depth and complexity, which is masterfully framed and defined by its bracing acidity and fine mousse. Flavours of ripe white fruit, white flowers, almond and orange peel swirl around fresher notes of citrus and apple core acidity all delivered on a bed of velvety soft bubbles. Ample, yet elegant, this is the wine for the ‘Gourmand’ in your life, or even in you. Think rich seafood starters, lavishly buttery, creamy seasonal dishes, or simply just a moment of pure, unadulterated indulgence and celebration. ‘Tis the season!
