Laurent’s Grand Cellier has had 3 years bottle ageing prior to degorgement and the blend is the exact opposite of the Reserve (70 Chardonnay. 30 Pinot), the stylistic difference is clear. Much more lemongrass and citrus based on the nose and palate, encircled at all times by a luscious creamy and butteriness. On the back there are slightly racier notes here, spices and ginger add depth and complexity galore and the smooth mousse and lifting acidity balances everything perfectly.
