Produced from 100% Castelao and aged in french barrique for six months. Wonderfully deep, intense bouquet, with ripe, black fruits and hints of spice. Delicious berry fruits on the palate, with well integrated, ripe tannin and really harmonious, balance. Amazing quality at this level.

Firmly established as one of the finest producers of sweet Moscatels in the world, today, Venancio Costa Lima produces a remarkable range of wines from the three designated appellations of the region, Moscatel de Setubal, the DO Palmela (Designation of Proteted Origin) and I.G. Setubal, (Protected Geographic Indication). The wines are mainly produced from indigenous grape varieties, the Castelao for the red and Moscatel, Verdelho and Fernao Pires for the whites, and represent incredible value for what is in the bottle.

We deliver to most of the UK within one to two working days using specialist wine couriers London City Bond.

Click and collect

Wine is shipped directly from our bonded warehouse so unfortunately you can’t use Click and Collect for wine.

Pre delivery check

At the checkout you can leave instructions for the courier to deliver to a neighbours address or left in a safe place around your home if you are out. You can also send to an alternative address such as your work.
