Intensely straw-like aromas of red fruit conserve and subtle dried red fruits. Hints of barley, green apple, lime and vanilla. Like the Barolo edition it’s well balanced and juicy with a late pepper note.
The palate is equally juicy and straw-like with dried red fruits, liquorice, Italian herbs and minerals. Hints of green apple and citrus freshen the middle. Rich and unctuous with a long, redcurrant/ berry conserve finish with lingering spice and soft tannins.
