2021 Domaine-Moissenet-Bonnard Beaune ‘Montée Rouge’ Chardonnay
A beautifully balanced and fresh white Burgundy that carries all the aromatic hallmarks of the steeply-accented stony soils of the Montée Rouge vineyard as well as the supremely well-judged interplay of both old and new oak. Ripe citrus, peach, green plum and yellow apple surround richer nuances of walnut, vanilla cream, caramelised butter and bees wax, whilst the finish is defined by citrussy acidity and a streak of chalky minerality. A wine of finesse, clarity and refined opulence.

2020 Domaine Porte Rouge Châteauneuf-du-Pape Tradition
A typical southern Rhône blend of predominantly Grenache with Syrah, Mourvèdre and Cinsault grown in vineyards of rolled pebbles, limestone, sandstone and sand. This traditional Châteauneuf-du-Pape, aged 24 months in old oak barrels, combines warmth, generosity and spice with a beautiful purity of wild red and dark fruit. Savoury, earthy tones of leather, garrigue herbs and liquorice combine with dark cherries, plums and raspberries, all carried on a bed of silky tannins towards a supple, generous and complex finish. A wine to warm the heart and stoke the senses.

2018 Château Musar Rouge

This legendary Lebanese wine, a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cinsault and Carignan, fermented in concrete and aged one year in French oak, delivers the Domain’s time-honoured signature combination of “Bordeaux-esque” structure, maturity and complexity with a distinctively wild seasoning of spicy, meaty intensity that speaks of the Bekaa Valley where it is forged. Flavours of dried cherries, blackcurrants, raisons and prunes intermingle with smoky tones, sweet spices and split cedar wood, finishing with fresh acidity and meaty undertones. 2020 Weinrieder Grüner Veltliner Eiswein
From snow-covered vines, on north-facing slopes in the north-east of Austria’s Weinviertal region, a wine as searingly intense as it is historic and traditional. Grüner Veltliner grapes, frozen solid on the vine, are harvested in the early hours of the morning at -10 degrees, their lusciously sweet, honeyed sugars, crystalline ripe fruits and vibrantly fresh acidity pristinely preserved and ready to be fully expressed by Weinrieder’s masterful winemaking. Unctuous, velvety and clearly defined, flavours of syrup-steeped peaches and apricots melt into lightly caramelised pineapple and guava, punctuated by hints of peppery ginger and finishing with mouth wateringly fresh lemon-like acidity, this wine feels like stepping out into a bright, crisp winter’s morning.
