A voluptuous and oaked nose with plenty of silky American oak vanilla and subtle fat corn and spicy rye. A little wood char, wood spice and toffee appear. It’s a bold, intense, crowd pleasing nose!
The palate is rich and oaked, like the nose. Vanilla, wood char, toast and just subtle notes of spicy rye and corn. Lovely intensity and one has to say that the rye stands up to the oak adding a pleasant bitterness in the finish along with red pepper, biscuits, cereal and dark vanilla.
