The nose is quite sweet and barley’d with pineapple, apricot, mango and very subtle pot still spiciness. Vey elegant and showing more triple distilled Irish character. Late banana, minerals, citrus and creamy oak.
The palate opens with more barley and spice. Generously fruity and juicy with banana, apricot, lithe citrus and creamy oak. A little sweeter spice comes through on the middle along with a touch of tangerine. Long, spicy, grippy, nippy finish with the oak tannins lingering and the spices bittering slightly.
