2020 Gruner Veltiner – Weinrieder
When you think of Austria, you think of Grüner Veltliner, and this is a delicious, classic example. With distinctive aromas of ripe apple, quince, and hints of peach. The rich texture is well balanced by the juicy yet lively acidity. It is fresh, vibrant, peppery and a perfect pairing for fish, seafood, and poultry as well as the traditional cuisine.
2022 Fendant Classique – Domaine des Muses
A vibrant and elegant example of Fendant from the Valais. Delicious and delicate scents of white flowers (lime blossom) and fresh fruit escape from the nose. On the palate, the attack is frank and harmoniously balanced with the dense and rounded fruit flavours. There is a wonderful stoney mineral line that underpins the cuvée. Mirroring its terroir this is a white wine of great finesse that has the ability to age and develop wonderfully, whilst remaining eminently drinkable and approachable in its first few years as well.
2022 Dole Blanche – Domaine des Muses
This classic swiss mix of Pinot Noir and Gamay (Saignées) is picked from a selection of vineyards around the Coteaux de Sierre (Left Bank of the Rhône).Thermoregulated fermentations and aging in stainless steel vats this wine has a pale, slightly salmon pink hue. Delicate raspberry scents radiate from the nose.On the palate, the attack is fresh, then reveals raspberry and strawberry fruity and velvety flavours. The Dôle blend manages to balance interesting complexity and fruitiness in a wine that is deliciously easy drinking when young and develops warmth and spice when aged. The finish is long and harmonious. This is a Rosé wine of wonderful elegance. Fantastic with appetizers, salads, tomato fondue and Asian cuisine.

As we have all been enjoying our first taste of summer weather, we are delighted to offer a mixed case of two wonderfully light, refreshing, but characterful white wines and a tantalizingly fruity, yet exquisitely stylish rose, from two long-standing and firm favourite estates —Domaine des Muses and Weinrieder.
Nestled in the sunlit foothills of the Valais, in the Swiss Alps, Domaine des Muses has long been a beacon of Swiss viticultural excellence. Under the thoughtful guidance of Robert Taramarcaz, the estate combines traditional methods with a masterful touch, producing wines that showcase the harmony of their stunning terroir.
The Fendant Classique 2022 is a pristine example of Swiss finesse—elegant and vibrant with delicate white flower aromas, fresh fruit, and a beautiful mineral finish. This is a wine as exhilarating and refreshing as the mountain air. With just 12.5 ABV, it is a perfect ‘summer’ white, with the depth and body to partner a variety of dishes. Perfect with fish, chicken and white meats.
The Dole Blanche 2022 is a classic Swiss mix of Pinot Noir and Gamay (Saignées). Very pale rose in the glass, with delicate, scents of ripe raspberry fruit. On the palate, the attack is fresh, revealing a fruit cocktail of raspberry, strawberry and peach. Harmonious and silky, combining style, complexity and fruitiness in a wine that is deliciously easy drinking. The finish is long and harmonious. This is a Rosé wine of wonderful elegance. Fantastic with appetizers, salads, tomato fondue and Asian cuisine. ‘Fruit salad in a glass!’
