A mature and malty nose with baked apple and hints of violets, ginger, cinnamon, pepper and sweet vanilla. The sherry adds a very subtle and mature raisinated fruit note along with hints of dark chocolate and wood smoke.

The palate is light in body but pleasantly mature with malt, dark fruit, raisin, sultana and dried citrus. Hints of barley, old vanilla, dark chocolate and some lightly tannic spice. Long, fresh, citrus, malt dried grape, sultana, cinnamon and barky spice finish. A lovely old blend.
