The nose is funky, vanilla’d and coffee’d with a little oxidised fruit. Subtle, earth peat appears. It definitely shows more of an oxidative character than the first release. Lightly fishy and fleshy.
The palate is earthy, funky and a little raw. Fish oils, coffee, feints and some subtle oxidised fruit notes. Good sweet oak middle with some subtly creamy vanilla and spice. Masked, fishy, earthy, coffee’d finish.
Water emphasis the oxidised fruit and makes it feel quite grain-like. Dried fruit and rose petals with a little fish oils. The palate is still youthful but not as raw. Oily apricot and off-sweet barley. Medium length, marzipan, tangerine and funk finish.
