Tasting Note

Lacolone Red Cane (B80689) – Pot Still
Dist: Nov 2020 Btl: Jul 2021
Tasted: Sept 2021
The nose is certainly not lacking in intensity. A little high toned and fusel with clean, pure crushed cane and subtle agricole herbal notes. Gentle cane sugar sweetness and hints of earth and rubber. With time an almost toasty vanilla note.

The palate is very clean and earthy. Again pure crushed sugar cane and again a little fusel. Subtle sweet cane sugar and herbal agricole on the middle. Long pulped mezcal-esque white fruit finish with lingering herbal notes.

Water makes the nose and the palate less herbal and fusel and emphasises the cane sweetness and earthiness.
