With no rot to worry about Roberto Mascarin can afford to pick late, relying on the chill of the nights to retain acidity. This Sangiovese really delivers in terms of fresh juicy, dark- fruited flavour. It certainly has the rich full-body and classic acidity of the best from this variety, but also with accessibility to match. Great balance and well structured.
