Aromas of Calvados-esque baked red apples, autumnal fruit and hints of cinder toffee, treacle, cereal, cinnamon and dark marzipan.
The palate mirrors the nose, opening with the autumnal hedgerow fruits and Calvados-esque baked red apple, polished oak, vanilla, cinder toffee and cereal. Long, spicy finish with sweet rose petal, pot pourri spices, malt and black pepper. Very impressive.
