The nose opens with a lovely depth of sweet rye spice, violets and dark rye bread notes. Hints of treacle, wood smoke, vanilla, toffee and subtly butter pepper spice. Still very impressive.
The palate opens with some delicious dark rye spice, treacle , tar and a touch of sweet cinnamon and ginger. Some violet tinged pot pourri emerges on the middle along with some bitter spice notes, Mouth-watering and herbal rye accented finish with lingering pot pourri, cinnamon, vanilla and brittle rye spice.
