The nose is slightly gritty, herbal and chocolaty with red fruit, barley and hints of earth, peat, grippy rye spices and tannin. Lightly coastal with a lovely natural feel. Late vanilla oak notes add a touch of softness.
The palate opens with the herbal barley, vanilla, apricot and herbal peat. Coarse chocolaty tannins and winey red fruit on the middle. Good length with youthful barley, rye spice, grippy tannins and ginger spice on the finish. Lovely intensity.
