Bourbon/ finished in rejuvenated European ex wine casks

Aromas of tart green apple, lime and barley to begin, all set against a background of taught but spicy (cinnamon) oak. With time hints of mango, apricot, banana and sweet vanilla.
The palate is rich and showing more vanilla with ginger, cinnamon. Hints of barley, banana, mango and apricot follow. Quite nutty and toffee’d on the middle with a subtle note of beeswax and honey. Long, creamy and vanilla’d with the edgy French oak tannins coming through bringing dark chocolate notes to the finish.
