A lovely nose of fresh red/ black fruit and salt. Definitely not one dimensional as it unfolds to show barley, vanilla, chocolate, cinnamon, ginger and earth. Beautifully polished and coastal with the aromas sweetening over time.
The palate opens with plump, ripe red and black fruit. Gorgeously juicy but slightly subtler of the coastal notes. Hints of barley, toasty oak, almond, ginger and chocolate on the middle. Long, supple, classy finish which remains juicy with a touch more distillery character. Lovely spicy after-taste.
