Tasting Note

Triple Column Continuous Still
3 years tropical ageing/ 10 years European ageing
Dist: 2008 Btl: 2021
Tasted: Sept 2023
The nose is edgy and slightly herbal but also shows a superb depth of sweet/ honeyed fruit. Tamarind, green apple, cantaloupe melon, and a subtle, almost Agricole-esque herbal character. Although quite honeyed it has a balancing citric minerality. The oak is surprisingly quite subtle and adds just a touch of toasted nuts and wood smoke.

The palate is fresh and mineral with plenty of juicy, tropical fruit, banana, cantaloupe melon and apricot. Hints of edgy herbal Agricole-eque notes come though along with vanilla, grilled nuts, green banana and herbs. Long, juicy and spicy finish with lingering oak and dried fruit. Very impressive.
