The name ‘Ode Aux Ignorants’ is a tribute to the graphic novel “Les Ignorants” (“The Initiates” in English, by
Etienne Davodeau). The book relates the story of a new winegrower sharing a year of his life. It made Olivier
Faucon realise making wine was a crazy dream, however achievable, even for the outsider that he was! It inspired him and that’s how it all started in 2013, it gave birth to Mas Combarèla’s first vintage in 2016.
