The nose is barley’d and herbal with hints of earth, dry peat, apricot and very subtle sherried dried fruit. Pleasantly balanced with some floral grain spirit, petrol, gooseberry and nettles with time.
The palate is a little salty, lightly oiled and showing a touch more sherry character, although it is still very well balanced. Barley, apricot, vanilla, leafy herbs and dry peat follow. Quite astringent on the middle with some petrolly notes. Long, citric and granity finish with returning dried fruit and lingering spice
