The nose is funky, edgy and slightly savoury with earth, malt, dry peat, sweet rose Turkish delight and herbal nuances. With time pepper, peat smoke, barley and vanilla.
The palate opens with the dark malt and rich stewed fruit. There’s a subtler herbal peat and funky spirit character. The Lomond still component adds an almost grainy dried fruit note. Long, salty and spicy with lingering dry peat, sweet malt and charred oak.
