A herbal and tarry nose with plenty of burnt rubber and chunky red fruit. Hints of barley, peat smoke and astringent herbs follow. The barley develops a pleasant sweetness and a touch of syrup coated apricot and wood spice appears.
The palate is fresh and citric, opening with barley and vanilla. Tar, rubber, wood spice and dried red fruit notes follow along with the usual Provencal herbal distillery character and more tar. Lovely intensity and a long, chewy, malty, rubbery finish with a wood spice aftertaste.
