Now that’s an intense nose! Very biscuity with huge chunks of winey honey and some raw spirit notes. It’s a bit chunky and foursquare but characterful.! With time vanilla, white flowers, peanut, almond, barley and malt. You know what, this combination works really well.!

The palate is big, biscuity and winey with plenty of robust barley and spirit character. Chunky and malty with some slightly gritty tannins and bittering oak. Plenty of alcohol enhanced spices on the middle. Masked, mouth-watering but juicy, malty and barley’d finish. All I can say is that it bludgeons the senses!

Diluted the nose is less biscuity and is more aromatic and winey. Slightly Madeira-like dried grape now. The palate is also slightly Madeira-like and still biscuity with subtler wine notes and more cereal and malt. Long, chewy, honeyed, winey finish.
