Aromas of herbal and vegetal peat along with gritty oxidised fruit. Hints of coal dust, tar, oily almond paste/ putty, sour fruit and petrol. It’s a bit peat and sherry but it has a lovely wildness!
Sweet orange, plum and oxidised apple on the palate. Earthier, less funky peat with a touch of garden fruit and a little vegetal note. Masked, green citrus finish with herbal dried fruit finish and a lightly tarry after-taste.
Diluted the nose is still peated but less vegetal and more ashier in character. A touch of celery and green melon has appeared now. The palate is less funky and subtly herbal with lightly astringent green fruit, green barley and green peat, Long, mineral and slightly bitter green spice finish,
