Jack Daniels Triple Mash 50%

Tasting Note

Botted in Bond blend of American whisky, rye and Tennessee whisky.

Tasted: Sept 2022

Aromas of dark toffee, fudge, sweet corn and nippy rye spice. Slightly biscuity with vanilla, grilled nuts, wood smoke and wood char. A little sweeter on the nose than the ‘Bonded’ release.

The palate opens with dark toffee and soft rye spice. Again, the sweet corn and vanilla follow with a little toasted/ charred oak. The rye spice bitter slightly on the middle and add a counterbalance and a lovely spicy intensity, which in turn makes it feel less sweet than the nose suggests. Good length with toasted nuts and marzipan finish.
