The nose is young, crisp and grainy with sweet apricot, peach and wheaty notes. Soft vanilla ice-cream oak follows. Good balance and a late touch of lemon.
The palate starts quite wheaty with plenty of grainy dried apricot, peach and a touch of apple. Again the oak comes across like vanilla ice-cream and some nippy grain spices follow. Good length, continuing spicy with a subtle honeyed after-taste. (Tasting Note From Batch 2)
