A very fresh and herbal nose of high toned column still rye with hints of rye bread, cinnamon and pine nuts. Subtle, denser pot still spirit, vibrant citrus, ginger and vanilla. It feels younger and less oaked than previous releases.
The palate is also fresh and opens with the column still rye spirit. Subtle spice, ginger, pine nuts and herbal rye notes. It’s almost minty fresh! Very subtle oak on the middle with a drying, slightly woody, lightly bitter rye and dark rye bread finish.
