Dark ,full and elegant aromas. Quite savoury with walnut and a plethora of dark, almost rasintaed sweet grape. Incredibly complex with layers of dark honey, pepper, cinnamon, dried tangerine/ satsuma and late green apple skin.
The palate is rich and elegant with layer upon layer of baked apple, dried apricot, pineapple and slightly waxy orange peel. Lightly earthy and savoury with an exceptional silky smooth tannic structure. Long, dried orange peel, macadamia nut, walnut shell, cocoa powder finish which although is a bit drying there is more than enough waxy fruit to balance. Sublime stuff!
