Four Pillars Sherry Cask Age Gin 43.8% 50cl

Tasting Note

Tasted: Aug 2018

The nose is denser than the Chardonnay aged gin. Spicier and earthier with subtle dried fruit and hints of juniper, mentholated herbs, and cardamom. The oak is a little more dominant but still pleasantly balanced. Late pepper, coriander and lemon appears.

The palate is quite spicy with coriander and cardamom up first. Again slightly mentholated with subtle dried fruit notes. The juniper and lemon comes through on the middle along with some lovely building spices. Good balance and length with lingering menthol and anise.
