A vatting of full Moscatel maturation and finished stock

The nose is quite reserved with a relatively subtle grapey Moscatel influence. Estery white fruit, orange peel, nuts and fleshy apricot appear. Like the STR release there is less creamy American oak and thus the aromas are fresher, but still well balanced.
The palate is fresh, citric and grapey with classic biscuity Moscatel, oxidised fruit, pear, white peach and edgy tannic notes. Grippy, spicy middle with a long, slightly tannic and biscuity finish. Again, there is less American oak influence than the older release, but plenty of spice.
