A lovely, elegant nose of oxidised/baked apple, mature oak and a touch of cinnamon. Quite dense and dark but the Fin Bois minerality and a touch of citrus balance. With time fresher apple notes and a touch of earth.
The palate opens with dark, oxidised apple, mature oak and minerals. Very elegant and violety with a crisp apple and subtle floral/ honeysuckle middle. Long and remaining floral with lingering spice, baked apple, wood spice and subtle herbal notes.
