The nose shows an obvious aged rancio. Superbly deep and silky with a lovely blend of pot and column still dried fruit, violets, dried apricot, banana and some slightly tannic spices. With time earth, molasses and toast.
The palate is rich, full and mature with toasty oak and plenty of pot and column still dried fruit. A touch of tannic spice appears but the velvety dried fruit balances. Hints of coffee, toffee and molasses. Long, juicy, spicy, grippy rich fruit finish.
