Domaine Saint Prefert 2009 Chateauneuf du Pape, ‘Auguste Favier’ (150cl)
Tasting Note
A pure, deep, silky nose of spicy red Grenache fruit with a smattering of Cinsault. Quite aromatic with a touch of black cherry and liquorice. Dry, soft acidity, low to medium tannins. Full and juicy with plenty of redcurrant/ berry along with hints of raspberry and black cherry. Lovely purity and softness with a mouth-filling creaminess. Very long with a hint of earth and liquorice in the finish. (CG)
