Domaine Moissenet-Bonnard 2018 Pommard ‘Les Tavannes’
Tasting Note
Undoubtably the domaines biggest and most powerful Pommard. Its superb crimson colour leads to a nose with notes of slightly jammy fresh fruit – burlat cherries, strawberries and raspberries – with a hint of undergrowth. The mouthfeel is bold, mineral and intense. The tannins are juicy and persistent. This is starting to coming into its own now with a few years of aging, however will contine to evolve wonderfully over the next 5-10 years.
