Domaine la Barroche 2016 Châteauneuf-du-Pape Signature

Tasting Note

Potpourri and dried provencal herbs on the nose. On the palate this is wonderfully rounded, juicy and intense from the get go and surprisingly fresh. A pate de fruit, red and black fruit character on the palate accompanied by very fine and ample tannins. The intensity is lifted and bright, structured, complete and harmonious through and through. Very long and well balanced. This is all you could possibly want from a classy and stylish contemporary Chateauneuf from this vintage. A mix of Grenache (60%), Mourvèdre (20%), Syrah (10%) and Others (10%).
