From the oldest vines – 100 to 120 years. One barrel, one year old, but possibly first fill.
Amazing bouquet – toasty, smoky, black fruit. Super intensity with ripe black fruits, berry, cherry and plum, with subtle spices. More structured than the non VV Vougeot, but greater complexity. Incredibly refined, with gloriously long finish. Stunning.
