Tasting Note
Although, I had initially dismissed any intention of importing a none-native varietal, Robert’ 2013 reserve Syrah was comparable to some of the finest Hermitage I have tasted and a top-draw Burgundy. I had the feeling that the Valais is capable of successfully mixing its traditional varieties with those more internationally recognised.
