Domaine Albert Boxler 2017 Pinot Noir S

Tasting Note

It wouldn’t be an exaggeration to say that this represents one of the finest Alsacian Pinot Noirs I have tasted. This wine opens up with a deep, ripe, intense and complex nose made up of floral, herbal and red fruit flavours. Highly finessed and elegant on the palate, with a silky texture and juicy fruit. This is a persistent and generous wine, that has the perfect mix of ripe fruit, silky tannins and a fresh tension filled structure. The mineral grip is really what holds the whole package together, and it results in a long, deep and vibrant finish.
