Daffy’s Gin 43.3%

Tasting Note

Tasted: Jun 2015
Soft and creamy nose with immediately noticeable cassia and coriander. The mint is subtle and the citrus add a lovely freshness along with some pleasantly perfumed juniper. Good balance with some wheaty spirit notes.

The palate is soft but crisp and fresh with the mint a little more noticeable. Again subtle juniper, cassia bark, bitter coriander and orris notes come through. Lightly creamy with a sweet, spicy finish and minty fresh after-taste.

Description

Daffy is allegedly the Goddess of Gin, although she looks very much like Michel Pfeiffer, which isn’t a bad thing!

French Wheat grain spirit re-distilled in England with juniper, coriander seed, cassia bark, Lebanese mint, lemon peel, angelica and orris.
