Oloroso Sherry

The nose is quite mature with Oloroso dried fruit and a whiff of smoke. Hints of smoked meat, edgy, herbal spice and dry earthy smoke appear. Some lovely silky fruit underpins and begins to push through with time. Late rose petal, marzipan and coffee.
The palate opens with smoked meat and more notecable peat. Hints of tar, earth and rich dark, plumy and pruney dried fruit. Some spicy tannins comes through on the middle but all the while the winey dried fruit is a constant. Long, intense, earthy, peaty finish with lingering dried fruit, spice, tobacco smoke, dark chocolate and dry spices. That’s one hell of a finish!
