Tasting Note
With this cuvée, Laurence set out to craft an amazingly fresh and vibrant rosé, with good depth of fruit. Aiming for something that was both elegant and full of Southern Rhône character, we feel she definitely succeeded! A blend of 70% Cinsault, 20% Grenache and 10% Carignan. It has a spicey salmon dress, a unique colour to the Rhône and lovely nose filled with peach, gooseberries, redberries and strawberries. It has a medium bodied and elegant palate, that is rounded with nice freshness and density of fruit. The flavours present on the nose shine through on the palate, with hints of citrus, and a gentle backing of pepper, spice and herbs. Drink as an aperitif or as an accompaniment to dish such as cod in a cream sauce. It will also pair well with vegetables in a creamy sauce.
