Chateau du Pegau 2020 Côtes du Rhône Rouge ‘Cuvée Setier’
Tasting Note
A mature, robust and delightful CDR village, showcasing a rich variety flavours including red cherries, red currants, liquorice, tar, peppery spice and classic Southern Rhone garrigue on the back. This wine is bold and robust, thanks to the blend of Grenache, Mouvèdre & Syrah grapes grown on hillsides with rolled pebbles. It has a distinctive character and is ideal for ageing, with a recommended aging period of 5 to 10 years. This wine pairs perfectly with cooked red meats, particularly lamb with thyme or baby lamb with spicy couscous. Serve it at a temperature of 17°C for the best experience.
