Chateau de Saint Cosme 2013 Hermitage ‘La Pierrelle’
Tasting Note
Just like the 2012, this is a voluptuous and well-made hermitage. Smokey and chock full of raspberry and blackberry fruit, this I dense, intense and complex. As with all the wines of St Cosme, there is a refinement that goes along with the size, it is never just a behemoth, there is always subtlety and layers. Great waves of black fruit roll through the palate along with a crisp minerality and a pretty feminine ripeness. It is rich and flinty with a seemingly neverending and pure finish!
