Champagne de Lozey 2020 Champagne ‘Pinot Blanc’
Tasting Note
This champagne is made from the historic Pinot Banc grape variety, and expresses itself wonderfully on the clay-limestone soils of Celles-sur-Ource. Here it offers a round and fruity white champagne, very pleasant to taste for casual Chamapgne drinkings as well as lovers of great zero-dosage champagne.
Pinot Blanc is a traditional grape variety of the region, and despite everything is relatively rare. It will reveal its flowery and fruity aromas during convivial moments for an aperitif, with family or friends. Enjoy this limited edition vintage, an exclusive from De Lozey to discover!
The delicious and very expressive nose gives pride of place to white and yellow fruits, notably Mirabelle plums.
On the palate, it also delivers its fruity aromas of lily, narcissus and daffodil, punctuated by some notes of very ripe citrus fruits.
Our 100% Pinot Blanc cuvée is full of minerality, coming from our traditional terroir of the Côte des Bar, a clay-limestone region of the Kimmeridgian. Aged for 18 months, it reveals all its personality and freshness, with finely sparkling bubbles.
