Showcasing the fantastic 2008 Vintage, this is a deliciously delicate, mineral, elegant Champagne with depth, complexity and a touch of class.
A lovely pale yellow in the glass, with fine bubbles and a delicate mousse. The elegant and complex nose opens with a kaleidoscope of nuances: acacia honey mixed with candied lemon zest, white currant jelly, chalk and slightly mentholated notes. The palette delivers on the promise of the nose and showcases notes of ripe citrus and white fruits. In the mouth it is chiseled and pure, with a wonderful tension.
This has been kept behind specifically to allow the wine to develop and to showcase the 2008 vintage, so is in its absolute prime right now. However, if you wanted to keep it back, it will continue to evolve gracefully for the coming half-decade.
