The nose is juicy, high toned and showing more column still spirit than the old blend. Tropical pineapple, apricot and more noticeable Hampton funk in the background. Sweeter oak and spicier with ginger, cinnamon, cacao bean and sweet vanilla. Definitely not as dark and woody as the old blend. Late burnt wood and tonka bean.

The palate opens with the wood spice and high toned column still dried fruit, vanilla, fudge and subtle dark molasses and Jamaican funk. Continues spicy and nippy. Long, coconut, cacao, banana, toasted spice, roasted pineapple and finishes with the spicy flourish. In conclusion: This new blend shows more estery fruit, toasty oak and is less dark and woody.
